Quebal Law Office

Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Static Site with Admin Panel)

Timeline: 1 Month

I designed , developed, and hosted the official website for Quebal Law Office, a clean and responsive static site built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and host it using Hostinger. The main contents are static for the better performance and simplicity as the client requested it but I create an admin panel that allows admins in the firm to update legal snippets in the website dynamically by logging in their admin account.

The idea behind the project was to provide a professional web face to the firm with non-technical users being in control of major contents without a need to involve experts. The end product is a light and easy to use site that portrays professionalism of the law office.

BERF Verification Tool

Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL (phpMyAdmin)

Timeline: 2 months | On-the-Job Training (OJT)

I designed and developed the BERF Verification Tool, a web-based research tracking system built during my OJT for the Department of Education National Capital Region. This web application is like google scholar but simpler version. It is a search engine for BERF (Basic Education Research Fund) projects and research that allowing users to easily retrieve the status, author, and completion date of research entries across multiple years without requiring them to login or create an account.

Users can simply enter an author's email or keywords from a research title to search through the database. The tool also has a login system for 4 different user types; encoder, viewer, admin, and super admin, each user type has a role in the system which are the ability to add new research records and update their statuses directly from the interface and more.

Through this system, access to research information was simplified, there was increased transparency and enhanced administrative decision making.

BERF Progress Monitoring Mechanism

Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Tailwind CSS, MySQL (phpMyAdmin), Flowbite, Bootsrap

Timeline: 2 months | On-the-Job Training (OJT)

I developed and designed the BERF Progress Monitoring Mechanism (BPMM), a web-based system designed to digitize the research evaluation and approval process of the Department of Education National Capital Region. The BPMM transforms the previously process into an efficient, transparent, and user-friendly digital workflow.

The important detail about the system is the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) base on the idea of Discord server's flexible role assignment model. This enables the Super Admin to specify certain roles (evaluator, researcher, coordinator, etc.) when setting up account to the user - having no necessity to create different sets of users and dramatically increase of the working efficiency.

With the system, researchers can post their proposals, which are to be reviewed by evaluators. Every user has opportunities to observe real-time progress of every research submission, see statuses of approvals, and obtain copies of evaluation reports, which improves transparency and responsibility throughout the entire process.

PPRD School ID Request Handler

Tech Stack: HTML, TailWind, Laravel, MySQL

Timeline: 2 Weeks

I developed and digitalized the process of creating certificates for School ID requests in PPRD DepEd NCR. This system was designed to reduce manual work, save time, and improve accuracy in processing requests.

The project has two types of users: Admin and User. Admins can manage and verify requests and the system will automatically generate their downloadable certificates, while Users receive email notifications whenever there are updates on the status of their requests. This ensures faster communication and a smoother experience for both staff and requesters.

- More Than Code -

When not writing code, I like to browse what’s new in the tech industry. I'm always exploring design inspirations, UI/UX patterns, and creative layouts in different platform to improve my creativity and skills.

I enjoy video games because not only do they help me to relax and have fun, but also, they integrate all aspects of interaction, design, and strategy. Games make me relax, stretch my mind and even come up with an idea on how to design an interface.

Outside of my screen, I sometimes riding my motorcycle to explore new destinations. It helps me empty my brain and get motivated, doing this helps me avoid burnout.
